On September 25, 2016 Sarah lost an important family member. Her cat Casey suffered from poisoning due to ingestion of Anti-Freeze. During this troubling weekend the Fort McMurray Veterinary clinics did not have the manpower to be on call for emergencies as a high volume clinic was temporarily shut down due to a fire.

Unable to get any help in the city, or any other community north of Edmonton, Sarah traveled to Edmonton with Casey in hope of saving him. Casey passed away in his owner's arms within 10 minutes of check-in at the Edmonton Emergency Vet Clinic.

Casey's owner is hoping that despite the recent shortage in Veterinary Care, her tragic heartbreak will help bring awareness to Fort McMurray pet owners that Pet First Aid can potentially save your pet's life while transporting to Veterinary Care.

Sarah has allowed us at Paw Prince Pet Services to honor Casey's life by having our November Pet First Aid class be held in his memory. For each paid registration, Paw Prince will donate $40 to Sarah's choice of pet organization in honor of her beloved Casey.

Please join Sarah and Paw Prince Pet Services on November 6, 2016 for a great class, and to support and honor Casey Callan.

If you would like to support more than the registry fee, please feel free to contact Jennifer via e-mail at jennifer@pawprince.ca.

Thank you for your time in reading this and honoring a beloved pet.
